A custom branded site on Wordpress to show off the beautiful branding suite completed for Anchor Bay, a marina proudly serving Lake Martin the last four decades.
Site Story
Anchor Bay Marina has been serving Lake Martin for 40 years. Having grown up going to the lake each summer, this brand and Jeb’s vision hit close to home. He wanted Anchor Bay to continue being a family-friendly staple for Lake Martin visitors, yet embody a new modern spirit similar to beloved brands like Vouri Clothing or On. Armed with this inspiration, I crafted a brand reminiscent of the brightest sunsets that paint the sky at the close of a perfect day on the water. Sunkissed skin, glass-like water and late night dinners — these are the summer days I remember. To convey this feeling, we chose a modern icon of a sun dipping into the water, colored with bold and bright gradients — a totally different direction than other brands we’ve designed. This icon is paired with a simple san serif in varying weights, the perfect compliment for our strong icon.
