After almost a decade of crafting wedding films, the Keller’s were ready to refine their branding and site design to reflect the quality and luxury they bring to every film they make. Rather than start with something new, we kept the name and equity of the brand Tommy and Nicole, a husband and wife team have built since it’s start in 2012. Interestingly, the brand name is both a palindrome (Rellek is their last name, Keller, spelled backward) and a homophone (Rellek sounds just like “Relic”but is spelled differently) making it both personal and purposeful. With such a strong name choice, we worked together to refresh everything from design to messaging.

Brand Story —
The wordmark is a meant to be a relic itself in an uppercase serif and a unique “R” looking like a glyph. It stands alone, or with the icon, a refresh of their original pinecone but in a new variety, hemlock, for a touch of femininity. Shades of bold green and rust red give the brand a more earthy feel to go with it’s pinecone, balanced with tan and a clean white to give Rellek Films a look that’s luxe without being formal. The messaging is a particular favorite for this project— all centering on what a relic actually is. It’s timeless, enduring, indestructible… so for this brand, we wrote several brand statements for use on each page of the site design. “A Forever Keepsake”, “Enduring Memories”, “A Timeless Treasure,” “Make the day of your dreams a keepsake forever…” These statements really reinforce their portfolio and gave Rellek Films that needed upgrade.
